CARLEI WINES - SHORT INTRO AD
Equipment: Canon R6 Mark ii / Canon RF 24-70mm
I had the privilege of filming content at Carlei Wines with some incredible talent to capture content of some of their products and capture the essence of what they do.

Challenges: Cars and objects in the background that affected the visual of the shot.

Creative Solution:  Using the talent and creative angles to minimise the view of cars and objects in the background. We used close up focus shots for details with movement and low angle shots to enhance the joy of the talent.
BILL & ELLIE'S - HOOLIGOON MEET UP
Equipment: Canon R6 Mark ii / Canon RF 24-70mm
Hooligoon and Bill & Ellie's hosted their first ever meet up together and hosted over 70 patrons at their humble shop on 85 Chadstone Road.

Challenges: As my first ever motorcycle event, it was intimidating to capture content of a large crew of people that I had no connection to or have neither met before.

Creative Solution:  Relied on my strong connection with the family owned business and being as warm and accomodating as possible to all the patrons, because for them it maybe uncomfortable to have a camera pointed at the their faces.
PALAY - MODERN FILIPINO TAPAS POP-UP RESTAURANT
Equipment: Canon R7 / Sigma 18-35
Capturing the first-ever Palay restaurant pop-up experience. The goal was to showcase a glimpse of the event focusing on the team and how they prepare the dining experience.

Challenges: The lighting was inconsistent; the warm and dim dining area versus the bright cold kitchen lighting meant I had to consistently change settings to compensate for the lighting.

Creative Solution: Creating custom settings on my camera for the different lighting conditions helped save time when moving between areas.
SNAP FITNESS FITZROY
Equipment: Canon R7 / Sigma 18-35 / Ronin RS
A promotion video for Snap Fitness in Fitzroy featuring local celebrity chef, Chef Fhred.

Challenges: There was inconsistent lighting throughout the gym with sections darker than others. With the other gym members in mind, we were constrained by the equipment and spaces available.
I had difficulties adjusting the gimbal setup to optimise for vertical recording forcing me to record horizontally and with a wider lens.

Creative Solution: The majority of the equipment was located at the back of the gym. Instead, we opted to shoot at the front of the gym where natural sunlight lit the area, was away from other members and gave more space for the subject when cropped into a vertical format.
PHILIPPINE TIMES - NUMINOUS X ASINTADO
Equipment: Canon R7 / Sigma 18-35mm / Canon EF 100mm
A video collaboration with the Philippine Times to capture the Numinous x Asintado tour as one of their media partners here in Melbourne.

Challenges: Getting all the shots I was looking for was a mission. Constantly moving around the whole venue, navigating around cluster crowds and getting behind the velvet rope to get varying shots was exhausting. The tight timeframes between each set meant I was on my toes for the entire duration of the event.

Creative Solution: It was trial and error for the first few sets, once I found my spots and sections it made it easy to get the varying shots. Timing each section so that I had enough time during the sets to capture different angles and move around the venue kept me on schedule.
OXI TEA ROOM - EUPHORIA
Equipment: Canon R7 / Sigma 18-35
Premium Afro-Asian tea room, Oxi Tea Room, engaged my services to promote their seasonal Summer menu; Euphoria.

Challenges: The space we had to shoot was quite confined. Since they have an interactive dining experience that is limited by time, I had to be fast and selective with my shot selection.

Creative Solution: Preplanning my shot lists and having reference shots on hand helped guide me with my shot selections.
